In this article we will completely remove our camera from the app and reset it to the factory settings. Then you can start again by adding the camera back into the app.

Remove camera from account:

  1. Open the 'HomeWizard Cameras'-app
  2. Go to 'Options' in the list view at the camera.
  3. The press on'General'
    • Select 'Delete camera' at the bottom and confirm by pressing 'Delete'.


Reset Camera:

ATTENTION: 

A reset resets all camera settings to the default values. Recordings will not be deleted.


You can reset your camera by pressing and holding on the reset button for 6 seconds. The camera makes an audible signal or clicking sound to confirm.

  • On the CIP-37210 the reset button is located on the back of the camera.
  • On the C723IP the reset button is located on the side of the camera.
  • On the C724IP the reset button is located at the back of the camera next to the LAN port.
  • On the C923IP & C924IP the reset button is located on a separate cable on the cable harness of the camera.
  • With the C735IP you restart the camera, during startup the camera will temporarily shut down (30 seconds). If it is closed, you will find the reset button above the MicroSD port at the back.
  • On the C933IP the reset button is located on the back of the camera under the MicroSD cover. You can open it with the included accessories.

Re-add after resetting:

  1. Open the   'HomeWizard Cameras'-app
  2. In list view, go to the 'User Settings' in the top right corner.
  3. Select 'Add camera' and follow the instructions in the app.
