The camera and your account both have a unique password. The password of your account is sent by e-mail when your account is activated. You entered the password of your camera during the installation of the camera.



Reset camera password

If you have forgotten the password of the camera, the camera must be reset (reset of factory settings). You can enter a new password when you reinstall the camera. Then consult the following article; Reset the camera



Reset account password

On the HomeWizard website you can change the password of your account.


IMPORTANT

Customizing your HomeWizard account will affect linked HomeWizard products (apps). In addition to the Homewizard Cameras app, the HomeWizard account is also used for the HomeWizard, HomeWizard Lite, HomeWizard Link and HomeWizard Cleaner apps. So keep this in mind when changing the password.


  1. Open a web browser. (For a better overview, we recommend do on a computer or laptop)
  2. Go to the website www.homewizard.com 
  3. Press 'Log in' at the top right of the web browser.
    • On a smartphone or tablet, depends on the size of the screen. "ACCOUNT" is in the upper left corner under "MENU" of the web browser.
  4. You are in the login screen.
    • Enter your e-mail address and password from your HomeWizard Online account, then press '   Login   '.
      • If you do not remember the password, click on 'Forgot password?' You will then receive an e-mail to change your password.
    • You enter the 'My dashboard' screen and directly under the 'Personal details' tab.
    • Under contact information, select "Change password" to change your password.
      • Activate "Change password" and then enter the "Current password". Enter 'New password' and 'Confirm new password'.
      • Press  '   Save   ' to save the new password for your HomeWizard Online account.
  5. The password of your HomeWizard Online account has now been changed. Now you can log in with the custom password on all HomeWizard apps and services.
